DMH makes services available through state-operated facilities and contracts with private organizations and individuals. 

 The Missouri Division of Developmental Disabilities  (DD) serves individuals with developmental disabilities such as  cognitive disabilities, cerebral palsy, head injuries, autism, epilepsy,  and certain learning disabilities.  

 The Children's Division is responsible for the administration of child  welfare services. The Children's Division works in partnership with  families, communities, the courts and other governmental entities toward  ensuring the safety, permanency, and well-being of Missouri children. 

 Whether you are an older adult or a family caregiver concerned about the well-being of an older adult, Missouri's ten Area Agencies on Aging  stand ready to help you. Search for transportation, case management and  care coordination including in-home assessments, in-home personal care,  adult day care, legal services and more, according to your county. 

 Social services provides  assistance that helps individuals and families, particularly children,  achieve physical, mental and emotional wellness. It encompasses a broad range of services, including health care, welfare, social work,  counseling, adoption and foster services.
