Qualifications to Work for Specialty Products

1. Prior to being hired at SPS you must have a high school diploma or GED.
2. Applicants must be at least 18 yrs of age to work at SPS.
3. You must have two current forms of ID (driver's license or state ID, social security card, birth certificate, US passport, etc)
4. You must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
5. You must have the ability to read and document on support and behaviors, understand and implement person supported plans, assist individuals supported with daily living skills, personal hygiene (ex. bathing, tooth-brushing, shaving, dressing, etc.) 
6. Must be able to pass training courses such as Medication Administration, First Aid/CPR, Positive Behavior Support and Other Relational Training.
7. Must have reliable transportation, a current valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
8. Pass a criminal background check.

Application Process for Employment

Applicants need to download both forms and save to your computer or device before filling out. Save them again once completed. Please send your saved and completed Application and Worker Registration Form to info@specialtyproducts.org. Once the completed forms have been submitted to the general email box or the administration office it will then be on file for the Human Resource Director to process. Once the Agency is in need of staff to fill positions, applications will be processed and the HR Director will call those who fit the qualifications at that time. Thank you for your interest in SPS.
